This is BBVA's new offer to its workers to agree on the conditions of the ERE

BBVA and the representatives of its workers have decided this Friday to postpone the negotiation on the conditions of the Employment Regulation File (ERE) until next Tuesday.

According to union sources consulted by Cinco Días, it is still not possible to speak of a preliminary agreement, although the positions are already very close. The same media predict that next week it would be highly possible to reach an agreement.

At the moment today the representation of the company has made a new economic and social offer that will be the basis of negotiation for next week.

This is the package placed on the negotiating table by the bank.

Economic Proposal for the departures:

For workers 63 years of age or older: 20 days per year of severance pay with a maximum of 12 months.

For personnel from 55 to 62 years old as of December 31 of this year with 10 or more years of seniority: Temporary income of 72% of the Annual Remuneration Level, discounting the theoretical unemployment benefit or subsidy, to be paid from the date of termination until the 63 years. Additionally, a Special Social Security Agreement payment up to 63 years of age with a 3% revaluation.

For 53 and 54-year-old employees with 10 or more years of seniority: Temporary income of 55% of the Annual Remuneration Level, discounting the theoretical unemployment benefit, to be paid from the date of termination until the age of 63. Payment of the Special Social Security Agreement up to 63 years of age with a 3% revaluation.

Workers aged 50 to 52 at 12.31.2021 with 10 or more years of seniority: Compensation in the form of a single payment of 5 times 65% of the Annual Remuneration Level with a maximum of 250,000 euros and payment of a temporary income of 15,500 euros to the year to 61 years.

This package includes voluntary premiums of 2,000 euros per three-year period and fraction. 20,000 euros for antiques of 15 years or more. 15,000 euros for antiques between 10 and 15 years old. And an additional relocation premium of 15,000 euros

For the rest of the staff (under 50 or over with less than 10 years of seniority). The bank has offered a compensation of 38 days per year with a ceiling of 24 monthly payments. Plus a voluntary premium of 2,000 euros per three-year period and fraction. 20,000 euros for antiques of 15 years or more. 15,000 euros for antiques between 10 and 15 years old. 10,000 euros for antiques between 5 and 10 years old. 5,000 euros for antiques under 5 years old. Additional relocation premium for people over 50 years of 15,000 euros.

Payment of the Special Social Security Agreement for people over 55 to 63 with a 3% revaluation. The company will enter the special agreement directly into Social Security until the age of 61 and from 61 to 63, it will be paid to the worker and he must enter it into the Social Security.

Regarding the number of affected, the bank has cut the figure by 210, which would be 5-year exceedances with these conditions: 30% of the annual salary level with a minimum of 12,000 gross euros. Amount for health coverage assistance of 3,600 euros. Being able to request a return from the third year.

The return will be to the Autonomous Community. If the employee rejects the assigned position, they will be entitled to the compensation agreed for those under 50 years of age, although without the right to voluntary premiums, regardless of their age on that date of the causal event.

The functions and roles affected within the branch network are: zone managers, CBC managers, office managers, city center managers, non-specialized business managers, customer service managers, joint managers and operational support teams.

For Corporate Services, intermediate structures and corporate centers, the company has not specified unaffected roles or functions.

And within the incentive package for geographic mobility, BBVA’s proposal is as follows:
From 25 km to 75 km, without change of residence: € 0.24 / km considering two daily trips, per actual day of work in the center, to be paid for 3 years with monthly settlement.

More than 75 km and less than 100 km, with change of residence: € 400 per month non-pensionable, non-absorbable, non-consolidable or compensable payment to be paid for 3 years.

More than 100 and less than 250 km with change of residence: payment of € 500 per month, non-pensionable, non-absorbable, consolidable or compensable, to be paid for 4 years.

More than 250 km with change of residence or island: a single payment of € 3,000 and a payment of € 500 per month, not pensionable, not consolidable, not compensable, or absorbable, to be paid for 5 years.
