Weeks away from his industrial launch, Renault presented the new Alaskan in Argentina. It is the new national medium-sized pick-up produced in the Cordovan terminal of Santa Isabel, which will seek to find its place in a very competitive segment, where Nissan Frontier, her first cousin, has been doing her thing since 2018, when it began to be manufactured in the same plant as the unpublished truck of the rhombus.

The firm of the diamond will offer its pick-up in eight versions, all with double cab and the possibility of combining with single or integral traction configurations. The transmission will be a six-speed manual in all its variants except the Iconic AT, which will be offered with a seven-speed automatic with a gear selector.

The engines will be the same as the Frontier. In the Comfort version, the impeller will be present 2.3 turbodiesel 160 hpwhile the other settings will highlight the biturbo (diesel) engine of the same displacement, but 190 hp.

In equipment, the six airbags are relevant (Iconic version), stability and traction control, descent control, hill start assistant, eight-inch multimedia system compatible with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, satellite navigator, 360 ° camera, sensors of parking, start button, sunroof, among others.
