The representatives of the workers and the company that manages the European University of Madrid (Europa Education Group) have reached a preliminary agreement on the Employment Regulation File (ERE) presented to reduce the dismissals from the initial 275 raised by the company to a maximum of 150. In addition, another 75 people will be able to take advantage of the incentivized leave program, as reported by work sources.
This principle of agreement has been reached after a month of negotiation followed by the request for mediation of the parties to the General Directorate of Labor, which has allowed the parties to unblock and reach a principle of agreement.
The last meeting of the negotiating table, under the tutelage of the General Director of Labor, lasted this Friday for more than ten hours.
