DoCoMo, a Japanese operator, has posted a list of devices to be upgraded to Android 10. Remember that Sony’s systems for global standards may be changed, but it looks like early 2018 and later flagships are free.
The Sony Xperia Ace is also on the list, a DoCoMo-exclusive phone that is an all but brand Xperia XZ4 Compact. Nonetheless, this phone has nevermore had a full release.
Nonetheless, the late 2017 Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact are not on the list. We were first launched with Android 8.0 Oreo and updated to 9.0 Pie, but that’s where we end up.
The Xperia 10 and 10 Plus are also dropping from the list, but DoCoM is not giving those two as far as we can tell. So also, if they received the update, the ship wouldn’t notice them. Also, it would be good to see Sony’s official confirmation that they’re going to be bumped up to Android 10.
There are some Galaxy phones in the DoCoMo list, but Samsung has previously published which phones will be updated – this is the list.
